Unless I’m mistaken, it seems SKP scenes and viewports don’t have much relevance inside TM, and the user must create any view from within TM, and not rely on setting up certain “views” in SKP. Secondly…If i originally bring the SKP model into TM via “import” from within TM, then the model comes in at any random orientation …and NOT the way the view is set up in SKP. Which kinda makes it hard to render out certain scenes one may stage in SKP, as the user has to re-create the same scene, camera angles etc,… in Twinmotion. Then if I make changes to the original SKP model and hit “eye ball” sync again, the model shows the changes of form but NOT any new view of said model. If I “sync” a new SKP model the first time with the eyeball icon, the SKP model will open in TM, the same aspect and view as what was seen in SKP. Been playing around with Twinmotion and SketchUp PRO 2018 for a month or two now and have had different experiences based on how i bring in the SKP model.
